The Future for School Music Repair is Here
Recently, Johnstonbaugh’s Music Centers North relocated to larger space with a goal of providing enhanced customer service for more customers. Among the improvements is a brand new repair facility, now home to an expanded staff which includes a blend of experienced and apprentice technicians.

Since purchasing Frank Mazotta’s string business in 1998, from whom he learned bow rehairing, Gerry has successfully grown his own string business for over twenty years. His expertise in Orchestra instruments include set-up, repair, restoration-major and minor, bow re-hairing. Gerry joined JMC in 2010.

Scott has joined the Johnstonbaugh's repair staff as of March 2019 to focus on orchestral strings and woodwind repair. His previous repair experience was in Utah where Scott performed repairs on brass, woodwind, orchestral, and combo instruments, and is a graduate from Western Iowa Tech for Band Instrument Repair.

From California, Allison has played and taught oboe throughout Sacramento. She received her double Bachelor's in Oboe Performance and Music Education from California State University Sacramento. She has been a NAPBIRT member since 2015 and has attended national conferences and clinics.
